Zoo Admission + Arts and Crafts

Come and settle down in our Party Cave and get creative! You can choose to make a Bumble Bee herb garden, Fairy door planter, Dinosaur money box, Bug hotel, Birdhouse or paint your own bee! Once you’re finished, take a look around our indoor zoo and visit our 300 animal residents!
- You can arrive at any time during the day, however, the arts and crafts session is anytime between 1:15PM and 4:30PM
- Animal handling experiences are NOT INCLUDED in the admission fee and are booked on the day at reception, or with a ranger. Prices are available here
- The last animal handling session is at 17:00, Zoo closes at 18:00
- Booking in advance is recommended to guarantee entry
- Walk-ins subject to availability
- For the animals’ comfort and to avoid overhandling/stress, animal handling sessions will be limited and spread out throughout the day

- If you wish to take part in animal handling experiences, you will be required to sign a consent form on the day
- Some of our animals can contract human illness so we kindly ask if anyone in your group is suffering from a cough or cold that you postpone your visit

* Accepted forms of ID documentation for free Carer entry can either be:
- Proof of DLA (Disabled Living Allowance)
- A Blue Badge or Freedom Pass
- Signed letter from a doctor or GP (Photo ID required)
